Inventory

The following bugs and issues have been fixed::

• Improved program installation process on x64 bit OS
• Editing audit profile settings caused program error
• In some cases audited devices were duplicated
• Incorrect date was displayed for history of audits
• Custom Reports did not work
• In some cases program hung while generating report from newly created extension
• ‘Recent Changes’ column provided incorrect information
• Agents could not be installed on Windows 7 using domain account

Inventory 2 RC includes:

• Improved installation process - new installer allows deploying program faster and easier on all supported operating systems.
• Microsoft SQL Native Client is now optional (not required for connecting to Network Inventory Server)
• Ability to open multiple tabs presenting inventory information of selected devices in the Overview, Details or Reports tab.
• Quick access to reports from Inventory, Licensing and Extensions views.
• The Generate option is now automatically available in the Reports tab when the appropriate inventory information is collected by the program
• Ability to generate predefined and custom created reports, consisting of a single or multiple tables with selected data.
• Report Scheduler – reports can be created automatically by the program at a scheduled date and time (daily, weekly or monthly).
• Reports Sharing – all generated reports are stored on Network Inventory Server and available for all Network Inventory Consoles (used locally or remotely).
• New Extensions view available from the program main toolbar.
• Simplified and more intuitive extensions management.
• Availability of the program update is now checked while the Network Inventory Console is starting.
• Enhanced Options window of the Network Inventory Console.
